From 19 August Lewes will be bursting at the seams with Art for the annual Artwave festival, which covers the final two weekends of our Brighton themed exhibition. Because of this it will extend to August Bank Holiday Monday, then there will be a completely new show from 29 August so there is something new to see for the final weekend of the festival.

You can see an exciting selection of art from all the Chalk Gallery artists. Take a peek in the Lewes Tourist Office window in the week preceding Artwave, and you’ll find even more. Here are a few images for you.

Chalk artists are an enthusiastic and busy bunch, and some have been released into the wild for Artwave. You can read the 2017 brochure online or download a pdf from the Artwave website here, or pop into Chalk and pick up a paper copy. Here are some of the places where you will find us.
