There are 3 main strands to Barbara’s work: large bowls, flattened shapes and small pots. She is constantly experimenting with new materials, tools and techniques to produce new and interesting work.
Barbara works alone in her studio making each piece by hand from start to finish. Consequently some pieces may feature small imperfections consistent with and characteristic of this method of making, in some cases her work is about as far away as you can get from perfectly formed factory production pieces.
Barbara is an Associate Member of the Craft Potters Association in London, and a member of PURE Arts Group here in East Sussex. Her work has been featured/mentioned in magazines such as: Aspect County, Sussex Living, 1066 and Ingenue magazine.
