Gail Gibson Tait is showcased as our featured artist from 11th November – 1st December

Gail’s stunning semi-abstract seascapes evoke the sense of walking by the sea, with the wind in your hair, and the lightness of being which such an elemental experience so often brings.

She says “Since moving near the sea a couple of years ago, I have walked along the beach most days with my dog, absorbing and contemplating the colour, chaos, calm, mood, patterns, extraordinary light and vastness of this space.

I have left the landscapes behind for a while and have spent the past few months immersed in the sea trying to recreate some of the essence of the movement, sparkle, life and happiness it gives me. I hope the changing light, colour, weather, atmosphere, mood and happiness have seeped into these new paintings. They are a mixture of memory, direct observation and imagination”.

An intoxicating blend and a delight for your senses. Have a look at Gail’s page by clicking here.
